Diversity

As part of the 21st century ESEP program (Engineering Specific Education Partnership) the TTU Motorsports Formula SAE Team allows 20 undergraduates and graduates from all academic disciplines to gain valuable confidence with the techno-entrepreneurship experience. As the ultimate “Makers Program,” the TTU Motorsports model includes, but is not limited to, all aspects of developing a performance vehicle business. Teams are empowered with the task to research, design, engineer, fabricate and test a quarter scaled open wheeled race car along with developing a business model capable of marketing, manufacturing, and producing a 1000 car per year production run. Each year, TTU Motorsports competes for points against 120 different universities in series of static business, design, and cost events along with a series of performance events that include endurance, autocross, acceleration and braking.
